This is not medical advice
This site records everyday rural plant uses. It is not a clinic, and it does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat. Effects and methods describe how a formula was recorded, not a promise that it will work.
Check yourself first
Confirm constitution, allergies, pregnancy, and medicines you take. Children, older people, anyone with a chronic condition, and anyone on medication should ask a clinician or pharmacist first. If you cannot identify the plant or the dose, do not follow the formula.
Foraging and making
Lookalikes and toxic plants are common in the field. If you are unsure, do not pick or use it. Part, season, amount, and method follow each record. Extra doses, mixing formulas, or long continuous use are at your own risk.
Internal and external use
External formulas are not for the mouth or eyes; skip them on broken or allergic skin. Stop internal use if you feel unwell. Seek care for high fever, trouble breathing, lasting severe pain, bleeding, confusion, or a worsening allergy. Do not use this site in place of medical care.
Records have limits
We note sources and seasons where we can, but oral tradition, personal experience, and later edits still leave gaps. Nothing here is guaranteed complete, current, or right for everyone. The site and its recorders are not liable for loss from using or misusing this material.
