Ingredients

  • Peppermint essential oil in moderation (must be diluted before use)

Volatile ingredients such as menthol act locally on the skin and nerve endings to relieve discomfort caused by tension headaches.

Effects & uses

Used to relieve tension headaches; applied on the forehead, temples, neck, and earlobes for about 15 minutes for sensory relief (see source for who endorsement in public literature).

Method

  1. Dilute essential oils with the base oils (e.g., sweet almond oil, jojoba oil) in the proportions indicated.
  2. Apply a small amount to the forehead, temples, sides of the neck, and near the earlobe, and gently press to absorb.

How to use

  • For external use when needed, not for frequent and large-area use.

Caution
