Ingredients

  • Chicken gizzard lining (jineijin) 10g (powdered)
  • Corn silk 50g

Principle

Jineijin is sweet and neutral, transforms stones and frees stranguria; corn silk promotes urination and reduces swelling. Together they clear damp-heat, free stranguria, and help expel stones; said to soften and dissolve stones under about 0.5 cm and relieve pain with diuresis.

Effects & uses

Adjunct for kidney stones smaller than about 0.5 cm (syndrome differentiation required).

Method

  1. Decoct corn silk to a concentrated soup of about 150 ml.
  2. Stir powdered jineijin into the corn silk decoction.

How to use

  • Take three times daily. Drink plenty of water daily, at least about 2000–3000 ml.

Caution

Powdered jineijin is considered more effective than decocting alone. Daily food-care only; not a substitute for medication.
